3/13/10

Ps 30:11-12 “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness. To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”

The Spirit says to the church: “This is the day of joy. This is the day of gladness. Lift up your voices. Lift up your heads. Sing praise, shout praise, for the great king has heard your prayer and rendered judgement for you. That judgement is FOR you.

The Lord says, “No more will I give your grain as food for your enemies: and the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored. But you who have gathered it shall eat it and praise the Lord; You who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts” (Isa 62: 8,9)

“Rejoice! Again I say, Rejoice! Enter in and you will see that the very heavens are rejoicing. Don’t look at circumstances. They will surely bow to the Lord most High. Look to My word. For I have said it and it will surely come to pass. Every word that proceeds out of My mouth is true. There is no might, or power, or authority that can stand against it.

Jump for joy. Shout, My people. For this is the day of your victory!

Saying Goodbye To 2009

Last night I was thinking about 2009 and what a difficult year it was and while in my last post I gave a brief glimpse into 2010, I feel it’s important to release some things while there’s still a little time left in 2009.

This is what I prayed for all night long:

Fresh Revelation- that will bring us into alignment with His purposes in 2010

Fresh Impartation of: Faith that moves mountains, Endurance that runs the race, Joy that laughs at the days to come, Love for Him & each other

I really sense a need to press in for the next month to get some strategy for 2010, the heart in this is to get on board with what our Father is doing NOT what we think He ought to do!

I also feel like we are to release 2009 with an attitude of gratitude! While it has been hard, the Lord has kept us! Amen?

2010

The last couple of days I’ve been going through my blogs from this last year trying to see what exactly was going on in the midst of the chaos that has been 2009.

While reading the Holy Spirit really quickened to me the recurring theme for 2009. Surrender. Just about every blog, every journal entry I’ve written this year involved me laying down ALOT of stuff!

While I’ve said in just about every blog that in the surrender I’ve become aware of this huge space that exists now, I’ve asked myself a few questions: 1. Has He increased as I have decreased? 2. In the laying down of these things, has this created space for His things? 3. Am I ready for those things?

My desire for 2010 is to no longer think in terms of how I would handle things, I want to do what I see Him doing, and think what He is thinking. In Him I live, move and have my being (Acts 17:28).

So while thinking all that yesterday Holy Spirit said this: Found In Him in 2010

Mirriam Websters Dictionary has an interesting definition of the word “found” it’s a transitive verb (HELLO transitive!) 1. To take the first steps in building 2. To set our ground on something solid 3. To establish (as an institution) often with PROVISION of future maintenance.

Ecclesiastes 3:3 says there’s a season for tearing down and a season for building up. Much has been torn down in 2009. 2010 will be the year for building up!

While there is always going to be shifting in our lives as Christians, HE is always going to be the firm foundation that we can cling to. And everything He does is for our good, even if it looks bad, it’s GOOD because He is GOOD!

He keeps us in perfect peace when our minds are fixed on Him!

Over the past few months, I have received quite a bit of revelation about a new season coming to many people that was starting in September and October of 2009 and continuing through the New Year. I keep hearing over and over that “this is the time of new beginnings and new opportunities.”
